My art has a story to tell…
I’ve always been obsessed with stories. From the time I was a child I would get lost in the daydreams I would create during play times, and as an adult, I still have a passion for stories. When I paint something, I’m not just making something pretty. I’m capturing a story in a way that only I can tell. I get to take something precious to you, a dream or an idea and make it into something very real and tangible. To me there’s nothing greater I could be doing with my life than bringing peoples stories to life.

Had a portrait of my children done. Nellie worked with me through all phases to ensure their faces were right and made adjustment as needed happily. Loved the finished product as it is spot on. She allowed me to see all 3 of my children together, which was such a gift since my son passed when he was just a baby. My children cried when they saw it. It is just what I was looking for. Thanks Nellie for making this vision come to fruition.

We've commissioned Nellie to do several projects for us (both landscapes and portraits) and been blown away by her ability to capture not only the visual aspects of the scene but also the serenity in a place and the emotions on peoples' faces.
